St. Augustine was a great town for touring, getting provisions, and just finding any type of store you could need. We were able get our errands done and filled up our refrigerator once again. We had another dinner with Jay and Pegg at their home and always enjoyed Peddie who is Dan’s 93 year old mother. We also enjoyed dinner at the marina restaurant, Kingfish, with Pekabu on the evenings that Brunelle had quiet family dinners.
We were leaving in the morning to head up to Jacksonville on the ICW as the winds were not in our favor to travel out in the ocean. It was going to be hard to leave St. Augustine since we could not believe we had been there for five days but we toasted each evening as another wonderful day would come to an end!
