April 7, 2011 Hope Town to Fisher’s Bay on Great Guana Cay

Recovering from the previous night’s affair was a little slow but we went to shore to enjoy a golf cart ride to Tahiti Beach.  Jay had rented a golf cart for 24 hours and they investigated the island on Wednesday afternoon.  Kathy and Pete took us that morning to show us the country side of Elbow Cay.  We came across some great views and ended our ride on Tahiti Beach.  Tahiti Beach is located in splendid isolation at the far end of Elbow Cay with sparkling waters and powdery white/pink sand.  It was accessible only by foot.  Below was a sign we found at the tip of the beach.

It was time to head back to Andiamo and Pekabu to head north to Great Guana Cay.  Brunelle was heading back to Marsh Harbour for Pegg and Jay to return home, and Brunelle would meet up with us on Friday.  We had light winds so we just motored the 11 miles and anchored in Fisher’s Bay.  There were some quaint and colorful homes on the hillside of our anchorage.  We enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
