Our anchorage at Powell Cay- Sunrise
Starfish with clear water next to anchored Andiamo
We woke up to a beautiful sunrise at our anchorage along with starfish next to Andiamo. The water was so clear that you could see absolutely everything on the bottom. We were headed to a staging point somewhere on the bank so we could jump off and head to St. Augustine in the morning. We had the wind on our nose for the whole day so our sails were not much use. We picked an anchorage close to the Lilly Sand Bank where we thought we would be safe enough that other boats would not come close to us. We all enjoyed the ocean sunset along with the music from Martha’s conch horn.
