Our Thanksgiving Family Get-together

Dan and Martha from Brunelle stopped by on Sunday and left the rental car for us to take back to NC today. Somehow, John and I filled the car with more things that we just may have needed on our trip. It was a six hour car ride to New Bern to drop off our car and then another 35 minutes for a driver to drop us back off. The frozen food we took from home stayed cold the entire way along with all the Thanksgiving “goodies” left over from the day before. On Monday evening we enjoyed a meal at the River Dune and spent some time meeting and talking with Mrs. Bliss, Jay, and Pegg. Jay and Pegg are Dan’s brother and sister-in-law from Florida. Mrs. Bliss is 92 years old and sends emails to more people than I do! She was a pleasure to speak with and we were looking forward to enjoying Thanksgiving in her company once we arrived in St. Augustine.
