We left Titusville and went down the ICW while keeping our eyes on the Kennedy Space Center Vehicle Assembly Building and the Launch Pad L39 for as long as we could. Going 6mph, we could see the 52 story impressive building on the skyline for at least half the day.
We decided to anchor in Eau Gallie, Florida. Brunelle checked out a small picturesque creek but since it was too shallow we had to back out of the creek in order to anchor in the river. We anchored close to land since there was a westerly wind and we were able to use the land to protect us. Upon anchoring we were given quite a show with dolphins checking out to see what we were doing and, of course, we were watching them in return!
A lot of sea life in this anchorage!
