Our morning breakfast took place on the veranda and as we were finishing Ed and Connie arrived from their hotel room. Connie was happy to show us her new apps that she enjoyed on her IPAD. Dan and Ed went for a dinghy ride to show Ed the unique waterway. They would like to spend a month there next winter with their boat. Connie offered to take us girls shopping with their car. Who could pass that up? We all climbed in her car and took a short trip to the grocery store. We seemed to be buying for our current meals since no one wanted to go into their Bahamas food stash. Ed and Connie did have plans for the rest of the day with other friends but they said they would join us for our Thursday night dinner.

The afternoon was filled with sitting at the pool reading and practicing with our snorkel equipment. Getting use to it and making adjustments was a whole lot easier at that point than doing it later in the ocean. We tried out our underwater camera to see if it would work and we were thrilled that our pictures came out looking awesome. There was not much to take pictures of in a pool other than feet and ladders so we deleted them. We did realize that due to the glare of the setting sun, it created an issue if I was looking at the screen of the camera so I will need to be aware of that. I’m hoping, once we are near fish, that the view finder will be friendlier and easier to use.
