February 8, 2011 CCYC Day at Key Largo

We had a group of 10 for our 8am daily breakfast meeting on the marina’s veranda.  We enjoyed the company of Arkeoo as they were preparing to leave to go back to Marathon and then on to Key West.  We were thrilled that they came up to see us but sad that we were still here waiting for our weather window.  We were all amazed at how fast our days passed by.

Glen and Maureen from Sevilla surprised us by stopping in the afternoon to enjoy some chips and dip.  They came with their neighbors who have a time share about 20 miles south of us.  It was good to see them and to hear more in detail regarding their transmission installation.  Sevilla had been in Marathon and had a month’s reservation on the mooring ball.

As we were getting ready to have dinner on the veranda, Ed and Connie from Surprise popped in on us for a visit.  How surprised were we?  Their boat was currently in Georgia and they had been reading our blogs and decided to go down to get some warm rays.  It was a little nippy in Georgia for them to play golf.  Ed and Connie were staying in a motel in our marina complex for a few days.

We were all amazed that three different groups of CCYC were with us today.   CCYC is well represented in the south this year!
