Once again we had our daily breakfast meeting on the veranda and it was determined that Ed and Connie from Surprise would join us for dinner that evening along with their RV friends Pat and Ed.
That day was a special day - Dan’s propeller from Italy had finally arrived! It had been due to arrive back in late December. The new propeller was a high tech feathering propeller that was claiming to save fuel by thirty percent. The switch from the old to the new was something Dan could do while the boat was in the water so the next day we expected Dan to make the switch.
We enjoyed the warm weather in the afternoon and we served a spiral ham for our dinner of 10 on the veranda. We enjoyed listening to our new RV friends tell about their travels across the US. The RVs sounded as if they have the same issues that boats do regarding their maintenance. The common element was that we were all traveling and meeting local people and getting a flavor of each unique area.
