March 1, 2011 Nassau to Shroud Cay – Take 2

                                                Exuma Cay Land and Park - Here we are!!!

            We arrived at Shroud Cay following a much calmer 42 mile trip from Nassau after having left at 8:30am; we enjoyed watching the waters turn to different shades of aqua.  We arrived at Shroud Cay about 4pm and quickly dropped our dinghy to go and explore the island.  With Dan, Martha, and baby Oliver in the lead, we meandered through the mangroves to put our feet into the Atlantic Ocean.  Pete wrote into the soft white sand “CCYC was here” and we wished ALL our CCYC friends could be there.  We still could not believe we had made it to the Exumas Park!
