March 2, 2011 - Shroud Cay to Warderick Wells Cay (Exuma HQ Park)

What an amazing sail we had!  The winds were with us as we sailed approximately 20 miles from Shroud Cay to Warderick Wells Cay.  The beautiful colors of aqua we had seen that day were breathtaking.  With only the jib up, we arrived for lunch at the Exumas HQ Park.  The water was so clear that it reminded me of a well-maintained swimming pool.  After lunch we enjoyed a dinghy ride into the HQ office and viewed the park.  What a site!  There was a circular body of water that surrounded a sand bar which was truly breathtaking.  Julia and I were able to live a dream we had of jumping off the back of the boat into the clear blue warm waters of the Bahamas!  We were then able to try out our snorkel gear.  An afternoon shower gave way to early afternoon cocktails which were followed by a steak dinner.  Another fun day was had by all!

John has not forgotton how to multi-task. (Gerry from Ragtime) suggestion of the private radios has been invaluable)
