Our group had our daily briefing at breakfast from our tour director, Dan, from Brunelle. We were hopeful for a weather window this week but it didn't look good.

We expected Lucia and Bob, from our CCYC group in the Chesapeake, to arrive on Bob’s daughter Connie and her husband Wally's boat coming up from Marathon to join us for the day. It was our turn for dinner so John and I planned dinner for 10 people and Kathy, Martha, and I headed out on the bikes to Publix. On the return trip we had our backpacks filled with food and I had two loaves of bread sticking out of mine. The two mile bike ride to Publix was getting faster and quicker as we were adapting to traveling the distance.
As I arrived back to Andiamo I found Dan and John working on our shower head line that had a leak and was spilling water into our bilge. The bathroom had been torn apart since the line broke inside the wall. It was not a convenient spot; however, we were glad it happened in Florida and not in the Bahamas. Tom, one of our Key Largo friends we met, had a car and drove John to a nearby hardware store for a part. The part worked and it was a good way for the bathroom to get a good cleaning.
Martha and I were able to test our snorkel equipment in the pool in the afternoon. Arkeoo arrived with Bob, Lucia, Wally, and Connie aboard around 4:00pm and all the girls gathered around the hot tub with our toes in the warm water catching up on all the news regarding our adventures. The home port for Arkeoo is in Alabama and they brought their Catalina 350 down via the gulf. They had quite a story to tell and they said that they would hug the coast of western Florida when they return back to Alabama in March.
We had dinner on the veranda and chef John make linguine and clam sauce topped with shrimp. Martha and Kathy both made sides and had we had key lime pie for dessert. Wine was flowing from Arkeoo. We ate, laughed, and discussed activities for CCYC south and then ate and laughed some more. We ended the evening with some special rum and a group picture.
