With a weather window opening up on Tuesday, we took advantage of the rental car and provisions once again and cleaned the boat. It always surprised us at how dirty the boat does get. John spent several (literally) hours on the phone with Verizon. His Blackberry, that we were depending on over at the Bahamas, decided to go on its own holiday. To make a long story short, they would be sending our daughter Julia a new phone that week and she would be taking it with her when she flies down the following weekend to meet us. We would be meeting up with her in Nassau as she was planning to sail and snorkel with us for 8 days. We would then mail back the old phone to Verizon.

We did the last load of laundry, filled the water tanks, and took a final fast trip to the local farmer's market to buy delicious local strawberries. The flea market is held on Sundays in Key Largo. We were planning on leaving the marina on Monday at 1pm to take advantage of the high tide. We would anchor behind Rodriguez Key the following evening to get a 4am start in crossing over to the Bahamas. We were all ready for the next part of our adventure!
Candi, our dock master! We will miss her!
